"We the People" Fast and Pray
Noon June 21 through June 24, 2012
If the foundations are destroyed,What can the righteous do?"
The foundations of our nation are being destroyed!
" But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting."
Please join Arms of Grace Ministry June 21 through June 24 in pray and fasting.
We have a generation of youth that are being destroyed by drugs, alcohol, irresponsible sexual behavior and abortion.
To save her people from sure destruction, Queen Esther risked her life. Before she went before the King, she sought God's wisdom and protection through prayer and fasting.
Queen Esther fasted from food and water for three days. Not everyone is able to participate in such a severe fast, but each of us can give up something that we love for three days. It could be television, Facebook, a food or drink, maybe a good time to stop smoking. Inspired by her courage and faith in God, I will do likewise beginning at noon on June 21 through noon on June 24.
For the sake of our younger generation I invite you to join me in asking God to bring an end to the destruction in our nation brought on by neglecting the biblical principles that this nation was founded on. I will be posting my prayers on my Morning Devotional blog and I would be honored if you would join me.
When Esther's words were reported to Mordecai, he sent back this answer: "Do not think that because you are in the king's house you alone of all the Jews will escape. For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?"
Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: "Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my maids will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish."
What Message Will We Give This Generation?
By: Anna R Penna
What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the LORD our God is near us whenever we pray to him? And what other nation is so great as to have such righteous decrees and laws as this body of laws I am setting before you today?
Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them
In a dream I saw myself lying on my sick bed in a clean, sterile hospital room. The doctor had informed my family that I would not survive the night. I slept peacefully waiting for the Lord to appear and take me home, while my family stood quietly around the room.
Suddenly, two young boys appeared by my bed and stood quietly, one on each side. I opened my eyes, and I knew instinctively that it was Samuel and Angel. Others in the room appeared to be unaware of their presence. I felt an urgency to communicate with my sons to explain to them how and why they were taken from me. I wanted to tell them all about who God was, and how He had reunited us; but my youngest son, Angel, threw his arms around me as if to quiet me with his hug. There was no need for words between us. Without speaking, his hug said to me, “It’s OK mom, “It’s OK”! “He has sent us”.
At that moment I awoke from the dream. I realized that my children are in the presence of God, but in spirit they are still here on earth with me. The message from God was not that I needed to tell them about who He was, but rather, it is the children that are still living here on earth that must be told about Him. It is this generation and the future generations that we must reach with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
It is those that would destroy the lives of a generation that has not yet been born, and those that seek to enslave our youth through drugs and perverted life styles that we must reach with God’s truth. The message that we must get out to our children is the truth that He came to give us life (John 10). Only the truth of God’s word can free us and them from this culture of death.
John 3:16 (NIV)
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life.
Father, by the power of the Holy Spirit and through the authority of Jesus Christ give us boldness to stand against the powers of darkness that seek to destroy this generation and future generations of children. Awaken us from our sleep that we might unashamedly proclaim the truth of your word to our children. Amen.

Forgiveness Is Not Easy
To You I lift up my eyes,
O You who are enthroned in the heavens!
Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master,
As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress,
So our eyes look to the LORD our God,
Until He is gracious to us.
Be gracious to us, O LORD, be gracious to us,
For we are greatly filled with contempt.
Our soul is greatly filled
With the scoffing of those who are at ease,
And with the contempt of the proud.
It is not always an easy thing to respond the way God would have us respond to our enemies. Attacks from those filled with contempt can come at unexpected times in unexpected ways. When we are caught off guard it can cause us to react in the emotion of the moment. We must always look to God for the grace and strength to stay strong and remain alert. Only by keeping our eyes on the Lord and renewing our minds daily with His word will we be able to stand against the scoffers. Only by God’s grace we will be able to pray for our enemies and those who spitefully use us. We must always remember that it isn’t about us! It is about serving Him in a way that will bring about His will on earth. If God is for us, He will make even our enemies be at peace with us.
Father, today we bow before your throne. Through the power of your word and your Holy Spirit grant us the grace to be at peace even with our enemies. Help us to live our lives in such a way that brings honor to your name. Help us to stand strong against the enemy that seeks to destroy our unborn children until this holocaust of abortion is ended in our nation, once and for all. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
In the Holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, we pray, always! AMEN.

In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation--having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,
who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of His glory.
We now know, based on science, that physical life begins at the point of conception for every human being. The unborn child is equipped with everything he/she will need to survive birth into the physical world when the male sperm and female egg unite. With proper nourishment and time that child will develop into a human life that is sustainable outside the mother’s womb. A new stage of life begins at birth.
In the same way, our salvation is conceived and sealed with Christ at the point of our faith. It is the beginning stage of our development as a Christian.
As physical birth is a natural expectation of a healthy pregnancy after conception, so is water baptism a natural expectation following the point of our authentic belief in Christ(Acts 2:41; Acts 8:12; Acts 8:37-38; Acts 16:31-33).
It is the first privilege given to a Child of God (Acts 8:36-37). It was the first commandment given to the new Christian believer (Acts 10:48). It is a witness to the world that we have been born again into a new life into the family of God (Romans 6:4; Romans 8:1-2;1 Cor 12:13).
Jesus led by example with His baptism. The believers water baptism is symbolic of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. It is an outward sign of what was conceived in the heart when we acknowledged and accepted our need of God's love, forgiveness, and salvation. Jesus told Nicodemus, a Jew, that to enter the Kingdom of God one needed to be born of water and spirit (John 3:5). The baptism of the Spirit comes from heaven (John 3:27). It is given to all true believers.
"It will come about after this
That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind;
And your sons and daughters will prophesy,
Your old men will dream dreams,
Your young men will see visions.
"Even on the male and female servants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days.
"As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance,
but He who is coming after me is mightier than I,
and I am not fit to remove His sandals;
He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
Without God's Spirit we are powerless, but with God's Spirit all things are possible (Matt 19:26;Mark 9:23;Mark 10:27;Mark 14:36).
For God so loved the world, that He gave
His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him
shall not perish, but have eternal life.
Father, we pray today for your kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven.
Open our eyes and hearts Lord, that we might be able to humble our selves and accept the gift of life that you have promised to those who believe. Strengthen us that we may be able to walk in a way that is worthy of your calling on our lives. May our words and actions bring glory to your name. We ask these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
In Defense of Eve and Her Children

Genesis 3: 1-7
Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Indeed, has God said, 'You shall not eat from any tree of the garden'?" The woman said to the serpent, "From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat; but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.'" The serpent said to the woman, "You surely will not die! "For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loin coverings.
Prayer: Lord, today we offer our prayer of praise and thanksgiving for hearing and answering our prayer for those future generations condemned to death by the deception of abortion. We give you thanks for those babies that have been saved and those that will be saved by our prayers. Help us to not grow weary of doing your will for the least among us. May our words and our actions bring glory to you. In the precious name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
In the Garden of Eden, God had provided everything the first couple would need for abundant life. It was a perfect world. They enjoyed perfect fellowship with God and each other. From the beginning it was God’s plan that the man would have one wife and she one husband until they were parted by death (Matthew 19:8:Mal 2:16).
God declared that it was not good for man to be alone (Gen 2:18). None of the animals in the garden were suitable mates for Adam. The woman was taken from the man’s side. Flesh of his flesh, bone of his bone. She was created to be a suitable helper. Although different physically, she was equal in value in God’s sight. They were created to be interdependent and to look to God for divine guidance. He blessed them and commanded them to be fruitful and multiply. He commanded them to subdue the earth together (Gen. 1:28). He designed them in such a way that they could produce children that would continue to replicate God’s image on earth.
In preparation for becoming the mother of future children of God, Eve was created with an innate ability to love and nurture. The Garden of Eden was a perfect world,. Eve had never been exposed to any type of threat to her security. She was easily deceived by Satan because she had no knowledge of good and evil. She had no experience in dealing with this magnitude of evil. As long as she remained obedient to God, evil could not touch her. So Satan devised a plan to lure her away from that protection.
On the other hand, Adam had walked and talked with God prior to the creation of Eve. Before Eve’s arrival on the scene Adam had the experience of fellowship with the animals and time to learn the nature of each one of them. He knew them well enough to give all of them their names. (Gen 2:19). But none of them were suitable mates for Adam.
Scripture tells us that the serpent was craftier than all the beast of the field (Gen 3:1). Adam had been around the block a few times. He was what the kids now days would call “street wise”. He was physically stronger and had more experience than Eve. Certainly he had more experience in dealing with the animals of their world than Eve. In today’s world we might say he had more time in grade. In other words, he had more seniority than Eve. In the military world we would say he was a high ranking officer, perhaps equal to a Wing Commander, or a General on the battle field. Adam was the Westmoreland of the Garden of Eden. Even if Eve had not been the only women in the world, even if she had not been his first and only wife, Adam would have been expected to carry the responsibility of protecting her, until she had familiarized herself with her surroundings, and became aware of the danger and deception of the serpent. Making a decision whether or not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil was clearly above Eve’s pay grade.
God had given a direct command to Adam that he was not to eat
from the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Gen 2:17). There was no written word in the garden for Eve to refer to. No regulations, no laws, no written standard operating procedures. She did not have the luxury of falling back on the way things had always been done. In this new world everything was a first for her!
The commandments came to them directly by word of mouth, the spoken word of God. In Eve’s case it most likely came indirectly from the word of Adam. It seems logical that God would not have felt the need to repeat himself on such an important matter. After all, it was only ONE tree in the entire garden that they were not allowed to eat from. How hard could that be to remember?
God had created Eve as gift to Adam. Surely he would have been expected at the very least to protect her from the beasts of the field and to relay this one important command of God to her correctly. She was the only woman that he had to be responsible for. As far as we know, at that time she was the only other human being in world besides him. In any event, by whatever method she acquired her knowledge we know that she was aware of the command, because she repeated it to the serpent when he tempted her. Her words were “God has said” (Gen 3:3). She did not say, “God told me”. So, we don’t know if God spoke the command directly to Eve, or if she received the information second-hand from Adam. Often when information is passed along by word of mouth from one person to the next it not always an exact quote. God said to Adam in the day that you eat of it, you will surely die. Eve said to the serpent, God has said, we must not eat OR touch it!
We know that Adam was there with her, and that he did not interfere with her interaction with the serpent (Gen 3:6). No doubt he was thinking about whether or not it was worth the risk. A lot of men love to take risks. Can’t you just hear Adam debating in his mind as reaches out to touch the fruit, “What are the chances? Eat the fruit and be as wise as God, or eat the fruit and die?” He of course knew of the power and wisdom of God. What he didn’t know was the pain and destruction of death that his disobedience would bring. Perhaps he only meant to touch the fruit, but once he had it in his hands and nothing happened, he gained a little more confidence and proceeded to eat the fruit. Wives often interpret their husband’s silence as agreement or approval. Perhaps Eve interpreted his silence and actions as a change in the operating procedures from God. We just don’t know what that either one of them were thinking at the time.
She knew what God had said, but perhaps she thought that maybe He had given Adam a new mandate. He certainly seemed to be agreeing with what the serpent was saying. I can see how she might have been slightly confused. She was after all the new kid on the block. This was indeed a first for her. Perhaps she thought that there had been a change of command, and now God was speaking to her through the serpent, instead of Adam. If Adam delivered the Lord’s original commandment to her, but now was remaining silent, neither agreeing nor disagreeing, I can imagine how she might have thought that.
According to the scriptural account, no harm was done until after Adam joined with her and ate of the fruit. It was at that point that their eyes were open to good and evil and the curse of death entered the world (Gen 3:6-7). God makes it clear that the final responsibility for the curse of death was with one man. He viewed Adam and Eve as one flesh, "one man". Through the actions of one man death entered the world (Romans 5:12,14-17). Life might have been very different if Adam had been obedient to God and refused to eat the fruit offered by Eve. He might have saved her and the rest of human kind from the curse of death. Even though they all pointed the finger at each other, we know that God held all individuals involved responsible for their sin and disciplined them accordingly (Gen 3:14-19).
Females today have even less of an excuse than Eve did for disobeying God. He has given us His word in written form. We are expected to study it and show ourselves a worker that needs not be ashamed of rightly dividing the word of truth. (II Tim 2:15). He has given us the indwelling of His Holy Spirit to teach and guide us. If we have no spiritual or moral foundation on which to base our life then we fall prey to whatever seems right at the moment. The world says to us “if it feels good, do it”. Our government tells us there is no right or wrong when it comes to our sexual relationships. Our current President tells us there is no need to be defined by boundaries in this century.
The curse of the garden is that the woman's desire would be for her husband and that He would rule over her. Many women have followed that desire to the detriment of their own lives and the lives of their children when they have no personal boundaries and their focus is on the man rather than God.
Christ came to remove that curse from the man and the woman. He came to restore the equality of male and female as they both live in submission to Him. A Christian woman's first responsibility, as is the Christian man, is to be faithful and submissive to God's word.
God has established boundaries for everything in the universe. He has established boundaries for our lives for our protection, not only from the things that we can see and know will bring us harm, but also those things that we can not see that might cause us harm as well.
We can see from the experience in the Garden that even the most perfect man is vulnerable to sin. The male can not fill the role of God in our lives. It is too much for us to expect that of them. We do not get a "free pass" for being disobedient simply because our husbands or other men in our life fall short of God's perfect plan. God did not accept Eve’s excuse for disobedience in the garden, and He won’t accept any excuses from us today. No matter how much a woman may love, trust, and respect her husband, his approval or disapproval will not protect her if she chooses to deliberately disobey God and step outside his protective boundaries.
We live in a very dangerous world where our children are being legally slaughtered and women are being permanently injured by the thousands every day. At the same time no doubt men face dangers and temptations in today’s world that most women will never have to face. I praise God for the men that are beginning to recognize that they have not properly protected the women of the church, or treated their spouses with the dignity of equal status as Christ intended. I praise God for the male leadership that recognizes that they need God’s help in standing up against the evil that threatens our nation and the women and children in our nation at the highest levels of Government.
Our nation’s laws provide less and less protection for women and children every day. Our churches are filled with wolves in sheep’s clothing that prey on single vulnerable women. I think, most women want to trust and believe the best in everyone, but that is not always wise.
When male protection and leadership is absent or defective she MUST look to Christ to be her leader and protector. She must learn to test the spirits (1 John 4:1). Deliberate, habitual disobedience to Christ leaves her vulnerable to every male predator serving in the fellowship of Satan worshipers. She must study God’s word for herself and ask God to be her teacher. God promises that if we ask for wisdom He will give it to us (James 1:5). Through the power of the Holy Spirit we can learn to discern truth from deception by measuring everything against the word of God. If it contradicts the law of nature or nature's God, it is false!
Women and children are under attack today in our nation from industries such as pornography and abortion. These industries profit from abuse and exploitation of women and children. These industries, for the most part, are controlled by males. Some of the greatest threats come from laws that are being cloaked in a deceptive blanket of health care and women’s rights. Many women and lawmakers honestly believe that abortion is good for women and that they should have the right to kill their unborn child. We have a responsibility to educate them about the truth of our abortion experiences.
Planned Parenthood receives thousands of our tax payer dollars every year to finance their abortion facilities. This organization is responsible for 1 in every 5 abortions that takes place in our nation. Americans must come to understand that a threat to life by Planned Parenthood anywhere is a threat to life everywhere. We can not sit in silence and wait for our legislators or the male leadership of this country to end abortion on demand. Every male and female in this nation should be making their voice heard by every available means in opposition to these atrocities.
While we Christians sit comfortably and quietly in our padded church pews with the beautiful stained glass windows nearly 4000 unborn children are being murdered in our nation every day! While we take the communion that represents the blood that Christ shed on the cross, the blood of innocent children is being spilled out on our land! The killing of our children, our future generations, must be stopped!
When husbands give in to adulterous temptations, it brings great shame and pain on their families. Often the damage done to these families cannot be repaired after such a betrayal. When ministers and pastors fall from grace, it brings great devastation not only upon their family, but upon the whole body of Christ. The same is true of nations. When our leaders ignore the law of the land, and the natural laws of God the entire nation suffers. The very structural foundations of our society are being shaken out from underneath us. We only deceive ourselves if we think that God will not hold His people accountable for this spilling of innocent blood.
Satan has been waging war against the female that God created since the beginning. In childbirth she brings the perfect image of God to earth. Women and children of our day have been betrayed by our lawmakers and many of our church leaders. Our national leaders are interpreting the silence of our church leaders as approval for their actions on legalized abortion and homosexuality. The current health care plan will cause an increase in the killing of our children and we will be required to help finance that killing. We must not let that happen. Children are not a mistake! They are precious gifts from God. We must stop discarding of them like trash. Abortion is more than a simple surgical procedure such as a tonsillectomy. Our aborted babies cry out to us from heaven to stop the shedding of innocent blood.
We are not only selling our souls to the abortion devil, we are condemning future generations to this hell on earth. We must make our voices heard! We must continue to make our voices heard until the killing stops!

What Image Will We Compare Him To?
By: Anna R Penna
Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
To whom, then, will you compare God?
What image will you compare him to?
From the beginning of creation God determined to reveal His image in the man that He created as Male and Female. In all of nature God gives testimony to the equality of male and female and the value of their offspring.
The culture of death is very busy crafting ways to destroy God’s image on earth. In biblical numerology six represents the male. Revelation teaches that the mark of the beast is 666 (Rev 13:18). If the church presents God only in male terms, are we not worshiping the image of the beast? In view of what is happening in our society today, if we the Church, continue to propagate this theology are we not handing to the homosexual world justification for redefining marriage?
Why should we be surprised when males gravitate to males in celebration of an all male marriage when we present a view of male superiority? Why should we be surprised when females turn to females to reject the abuse of a society that demands that we worship an all male god, and the abuse that submission to that ideology can bring?
God created man in His image, male and female HE created them. All the attributes of male and female were present in the first man and also in the Son of God (Col 1:15). Jesus said if you have seen me you have seen the father. (John 14:9) The Son was sent to save the world and to give man a more abundant life (John 10:10).
In His human form on earth we know that Christ was male. When the Son departed the earth and was seated at the right hand of God, as promised (John 16:7)He sent the Holy Spirit as man's helper. Every true believer has the indwelling of God's Holy Spirit (Ep 1:3). Whether male or female they are considered the bride of Christ, the Church, or the body of Christ. God is a spiritual being, in Christ there is no longer male and female. Our human form will one day pass away and only our spiritual being will live eternally in perfect union with God. (John 3:15-16).
Satan has presented to the world a false escape plan from the curse of the garden. Today we live in a society that demands that we not only allow same sex marriages, but that we honor this union by teaching our children from an early age that it is normal, when it is clearly against nature and the God of nature. Our present laws provide for equal punishment for a crime committed regardless of sexual orientation of the person committing the crime. Congress wants to pass laws that allow more severe punishment for crimes against the homosexual community, but we hear no evidence that the homosexual community will be punished more severely for crimes that they commit against those opposed to that sexual orientation.
The first woman was separated and created from the flesh and bone of the first man. One flesh became two individuals. In the sexual relationship of marriage they again become one flesh. God placed the male and female in the garden. His plan was that together they would rule over all other created beings. He viewed them as one flesh. God’s plan for the man and woman from the beginning was for them to be fruitful and multiply so that the whole earth would be filled with His glory through the image of the family.
Satan’s plan from the beginning has been to destroy the family that God created. He first approached the woman, the life giver of the family. He knew that if he could destroy her and her off spring, he could shatter the image of God on earth. In the garden he deceived the first woman into thinking that she could be as wise as God. He deceived her into thinking that there would be no consequences for disobeying what God had clearly commanded. God said, "in the day you eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you will surely die". Satan said, "you will not surely die".
The abortion industry has deceived women and men, and many leaders of our nation into thinking they can disobey God's commands and escape the consequences. The abortion industry tells women they can erase their mistake and be free from the consequences of their sexual indiscretions by destroying the life of their unborn children, but post-abortive women know this is a "LIE". When a woman chooses to destroy the life of her child, she also destroys a part of herself. Abortion leaves a permanent scar on her life. It brings pain and suffering that this world has no cure for. It is a wound that only God can heal!
Our lawmakers tell women that she alone has the "right" to decide if the human being living inside her should live or die. Our present laws allow for a doctor to legally kill a perfectly viable human being through partial birth abortion and other torturous methods.
If the parents of a newborn baby kill their child and throw it into the garbage, they will be tried and convicted of murder. Yet our present laws allow doctor's, (who are under oath to do no harm) to stab the baby in the skull, suck out its brains and then crush the skull of a perfectly viable human being just inches away from being fully birthed. Doctors can legally slaughter the baby inside the mothers womb then remove the tiny body parts and discard them as medical waste or worse sell them for scientific experimentation.
This and other horrendous methods of murder of the unborn is what untold millions of our American tax dollars are presently funding. God tells us to choose life, but our law makers tell us we don't really have to choose life.
God's word calls children a gift from God, but our current President calls them punishment for a mistake and believes that punishment can be erased by murdering the unborn.
God has placed on the men in the body of Christ the responsibility to protect and provide for the woman. Absent her dependence on Christ, a woman looks to the husband, father, and her brothers for protection and guidance before anyone else.
Our constitution was meant to protect all human beings! Our judges exceeded their legal authority with the Roe vs Wade decision. Our law makers have not protected women and children from abortion!
Our Washington, D.C. lawmakers have now decided that American taxpayers must pay for a woman’s abortion on demand, through all nine months of pregnancy, for any reason what so ever.
The present administration wants to expand these services by giving the abortion industry more authority and more of our tax dollars. They not only want to force us to pay for abortions here in the United States, but they are giving away billions of our tax dollars to help fund abortions overseas.
Abortion is not health care! Abortion is murder! Murder is not a constitutional right!
Health care protects, maintains and sustains life. Abortion destroys the life of one human being and permanently injures another. The woman and every member of her family is adversely affected by abortion.
Women and unborn babies are being legally slaughtered by the thousands everyday in our nation, and we Christian taxpayers help finance these programs.
Protection is not the same as dominance! Leadership is not the same as control! Our current President tells us that we are not defined by our boundaries in the 21st Century. Government without boundaries becomes tyranny. God ordained the boundaries of the universe for our protection. He gave the sea its boundary, so the waters would not overstep His command. God gave men their boundaries and taught them how to lead through the example of Christ. Personal boundaries as well as state and national boundaries are necessary for our protection. Men have been commanded by Christ to love their wives as Christ loved the Church. In God's word the Church is presented as the bride of Christ. Christ laid down his life for the Church. In Ephesians 6:13 God's word tells us to take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything to stand firm. The full armor of God is contained in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Without all three our armor is incomplete.
In Genesis God declared that it was not good for man to be alone. He created the woman to be the helper for the man. Before His death Christ promised that when He went away He would send a helper. He promised to prepare a way for us to receive that helper. God's Holy Spirit is our promised helper! God’s Holy Spirit is the Life giver of the body of Christ. God's Holy Spirit, as our teacher, gives light to the word. God’s Holy Spirit that gives us life and wisdom is presented in scripture as a female in Proverbs Chapter 8.
From the beginning She was there with God when He created mankind. The Holy Spirit works in perfect unity with the Father and the Son. God's Holy Spirit does not contradict His word. I can only imagine, how the Holy Spirit of God must grieve at this shedding of innocent blood in our nation.
God’s Holy Spirit delights in His creation as the mother of a newborn baby delights in what she and her husband have created together.
God is LOVE! There is no greater picture of love than when a mother looks upon the face of her newborn baby for the first time, or when a new father sees his wife and newborn child for the first time after birth. The perfect image of God in all His splendor is the family (father, mother, and child). The image of the Triune God is complete in the image of the family.
How long will "we the people" continue to let those in Washington D.C. who have no respect for our constitution or our God continue to pervert, deface and destroy the image of God on earth?
When will enough be enough? When will "we the people" rise up and say "NO"!
NO! We will not bow to the image of the beast!
NO! We will not accept what is un-natural as a substitute for what God created!
NO! We will not kill our children to appease the god of choice!
The Church can not blame a society that makes no claims of submission to God’s word, for the depraved conditions of our world. Without God, it is a natural consequence.
So I ask you, what image will we compare Him to? Are we going to let those who know no boundaries determine the image of our God? Legal abortion on demand exceeds the boundaries that God gave to man! Homosexual relations go against the laws of nature and nature's God. To continue allowing such perversions of natural law and God's law to be taught to our children as normal and equal to what God has ordained is having dire consequences on our nation.
Brothers and Sisters in Christ, let us show the world that God’s love gives us life, and gives it more abundantly! Let us show to the world that God's image is revealed in both black and white, male and female. Let us show the world that in Christ there is Love, Forgiveness, and Healing. Let us choose life over the curses of death!
I call on Christian men and women everywhere to rise up and join the voices of the pro-life community to demand a stop to this slaughter of women and children. We must demand that sexual perversion stop being taught to our school children. Let us go forth together and demand that our leaders STOP killing our future generations. Let our voices unite in a resounding "NO" we will not fund the killing of our children and the destruction of God's image on earth!
Let us shout it from the mountain tops as the great Martin Luther King Jr. promised that we would do one day.
Let us be free “free at last”! Let us thank God Almighty, that we live in the United States of America, ONE Nation under GOD!

Back To The Garden

Gen 3:22 (NIV) And the LORD God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever."
The only tree in the garden of Eden that was forbidden was the tree of knowledge of good and evil. When Adam and Eve ate from that tree, in direct disobedience to God, they brought upon themselves the curse of death. Their sin caused a break in the fellowship that they had previously enjoyed with God. Now they were ashamed, and they hid from God.
God drove them from the garden to prevent them from eating from the tree of life. Doing so would have brought them eternal life separated from God: Eternal Hell!
Today man has arrived at that same place of rebellion again. We are guilty of the same sin as Adam and Eve. We want to be as wise as God and as powerful as God. We want to obtain abundant life apart from obedience to God.
Satan’s lie to us is the same lie he told to the first couple. Satan has deceived us into thinking that we can be gods. Through the knowledge of science, man is capable of picking and choosing from the tree of life. Through the legalization of abortion "We the People" have condemned this generation and future generations of children to death. Doctors can now legally administer various forms of a torturous death to children that are in the mother’s womb at any point during her nine months of pregnancy. Less than perfect babies or babies conceived under less than perfect conditions can be discarded for convenience sake. This knowledge and power over life comes at a great cost to our society.
Everyday in our nation children's lives are being sacrificed and women are being burdened with a life of pain, shame and guilt to appease the gods of "choice".
Human life is being created and destroyed for the sake of science, and we call it progress rather than call it the abomination that it is. It is man’s quest to become god by holding in his hands the power over life and death. The thing that God said he could not be allowed to do. God alone is the creator and sustainer of life.
Abortion is not only a crime against humanity; it is an insult to the God that created life in the beginning. God did not allow Adam and Eve control over life. Their disobedience brought consequences and the discipline of God. Their sin brought the curse of death to all mankind.
Today doctors pick freely from the tree of life and use or discard life as they see fit. They can administer various forms of a torturous death to unborn children with the blessing of the government (We the People).
Environmentalist demand more respect for a tree than we demand for the life of our unborn children. Animal activists demand more humane treatment of sick or unwanted animals and family pets than we do for our unwanted children. When will enough be enough? When will "we the people" rise up and say "NO"!
NO! We will not bow to the image of the beast!
NO! We will not accept what is un-natural as a substitute for what God created!
NO! We will not kill our children to appease the god of choice!
We need not, indeed we must not, wait for our legislators to change our man-made laws to end this curse. The lust for power will never be satisfied! God has provided a way through Christ to set us free from this curse of death.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.
This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses.
Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.
